Sylvan teachers win minigrants

Eleven Sylvan Union School District teachers recently won minigrants for classroom or schoolwide projects.

The $8,000 in funding comes from the district's fund-raising arm, the education foundation.

Grants ranged from $100 to $1,000 each for topics including field trips and yearbooks.
