Being a mom is a dirty job especially when duties include diaper changing, face cleaning, and nose wiping. Problems can arise when clean up isn't as clean as expected.

Pumping the soap dispenser with dirty hands only transfers germs onto the handle where pathogens can be spread to the next person. Using a touch-free dispenser helps eliminate the transfer of germs.

The Sensor Soap Pump from Simple Human is a touch-free dispenser that allows users to simply place hands underneath the spout to receive soap.

A small blue light flashes when the sensor is activated and it also indicates the amount of soap being dispensed. There are four settings based on soap thickness and amount desired. The light also blinks when the batteries need to be replaced.

The dispenser uses four AA batteries which are meant to last for six months as it slips into power-saving mode between uses. The dispenser is about eight inches tall, three inches wide, and six inches deep. It holds an impressive amount of soap despite its compact size.

The long nozzle is another notable design feature. The nozzle is several inches long and easily stretches over the sink which means drips don't land on the counter.

Available in black or white plastic. $29.99 at SimpleHuman.com or Bed, Bath and Beyond stores.
