EDUCATIONAL SPEAKER

Info: The Pacific Forest and Watershed Lands Stewardship Council, a land conservation and youth investment foundation, is holding a board of directors meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. The board will discuss the recommendation on prospective land recipients for the Kennedy Meadows planning unit. Info: A bone marrow drive for Dylan, a Turlock elementary student who has battled leukemia for five years, is being planned. GUNFIGHTER BENEFIT

Where: Coulterville Veterans of Foreign Wars, 5019 Main St.

Info: Coulterville Claim Jumpers is holding a Chinese dinner benefit, raising funds to compete in the Tombstone Gun Fighter Competition in September. Tickets are $25 a couple, $15 single, $8 for kids 12 and younger. Tickets are available at the Greeley Hill True Value store and in Coulterville at Delia's Delights and the VFW. A raffle is being held for a slot machine with
