Sullivan Noble/ Actor
Age: 12
Latest work: Recently played Tom in Sierra Repertory Theatre's "The Christmas Foundling" in Columbia
City of residence: Tuolumne
Day job: Student
Family: Mom, Dad, two sisters, two dogs
Background: I lived at a camp in Wisconsin until 2006, then a year at a camp in Indiana before moving to Silver Spur Camp last year. Our family always participated in our church theater musicals; I played Jesus when I was 2. My mom acts and directs, so I just started being involved. I was in a community theater show and a children's theater production in Indiana, then two more children's theater shows here, and now I go to a performing arts academy and got to be a part of Sierra Rep's Christmas production, so it's a big part of my life.
Arts experience: Tom, "The Christmas Foundling" (Sierra Repertory Theatre); The Doorknob, "Alice In Wonderland, Jr." (Sonora Children's Theatre); Seasider, "The Little Mermaid" (Missoula Children's Theatre); Dan, "Cheaper By The Dozen" (Little Theatre of Bedford); Pirate, "Peter Pan" (Washington County Children's Theatre); Young Lad and Tiny Tim Dancer, "The Gospel According to Scrooge" (Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church)
Advice for young performers/artists: It's got to be something your whole family believes in. It's not always fun, but it's always worth it. You gotta just do it.
Favorite music/art/performance: Seeing "Wicked," "The Lion King," and "Peter Pan" in Chicago. Also, my experience at Sierra Rep has been great.
Life plans: I would like to be an actor, but only want to do what God wants for my life.
How do you reach people unfamiliar with the arts? My mom always invites everybody she knows to everything we do.
What would surprise people about your art? I'm really extremely shy, and have never really sought out acting roles. Acting is something that has just happened to me, and I'm loving it.
