Sylvan School District Board Member

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

To ensure the decisions being made, during this tough financial time, are in the best interest of students and teachers. The decisions we make today must result in a strong foundation for student success.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

To encourage decision making that benefits all students, of all ability levels.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

My experience as a teacher and as an administrator in special education sets me apart from current Sylvan School District Board Members. My educational background has given me the opportunity to see education from several different view points.

Where do you work and what is your job title? (If retired, list position before retirement)

My current job title is, Autism Program Specialist. As an administrator, I work with parents, teachers, and fellow administrators to ensure that student’s individual educational needs are being met.
