I can be reached at restrada@modbee.com.

Ron Agostini has covered sports for The Bee since May of 1977. He has served as a beat reporter and a sports columnist over the years.

During the summer, you値l likely see me at John Thurman Field. During the fall, I値l be on the sidelines or at Stanislaus State or Modesto Junior College.

I attended Ripon High and MJC and graduated from Fresno State. I covered sports in Delaware and the New York Metropolitan Area from 1985-96 before returning home to join the Bee. I知 married and have two sons. Jordan is a junior at San Francisco State and Conner is a senior at Modesto High.

I can be reached at bvanderbeek@modbee.com.

I'm Stu Rosenberg and I'm The Bee's new sports reporter, though I'm not new to The Bee. This is my second tour of duty with the paper, for which I originally served as a copy editor, page designer and occasional fantasy sports columnist for more than 11 years.

Before coming to Modesto, I made stops at newspapers in Oroville, Red Bluff and Chico. I grew up in Lemoore and graduated from Fresno State. I'm married and have three children -- Riley, Hailey and Kyle.

I can be reached at srosenberg@modbee.com.

Two years ago, when it was Ripon Christian's turn to host neighbor and rival Ripon for the first time in the Trans-Valley League, the schools could not decide how to split the home-team rights since RC plays its "home" games at Ripon High's Wes Stouffer Field. The conflict resulted in the all-Ripon battle being moved out of San Joaquin County to Salida, where the teams played at Modesto Christian.
