FFA handlers prepare for Stanislaus County Fair

July 9, 2014

Johansen FFA students practiced showing their market sheep in preparation for the Stanislaus County Fair, which kicks off its 10-day run Friday at the fairground in Turlock. The sheep and their handlers were put through their paces at the Johansen High School ag facility in Modesto on Wednesday. The students will compete for top honors – along with hundreds of other FFA and 4-H members – throughout the run of the fair as judging of animals and their young handlers takes place in a wide range of categories.
