YESTERYEARS

100 YEARS AGO: Returning from the California State Dental Association and the Southern California Dental Association conference held at Camp Curry in Yosemite, Dr. G.B. Husted reported that the train full of dentists traveling to Yosemite Valley had a “warm spot” for Modesto. The train, days earlier, had stopped in Modesto and the Modesto Chamber of Commerce met it with ice cream for each traveling doctor.
