Crews put out west Modesto fire

June 22, 2014

A fire started late Sunday afternoon in the shed of a Rouse Avenue home and spread to the attic before it was controlled, the Modesto Regional Fire Authority reported. A resident of the west Modesto home was able to get out before crews arrived, Interim Chief Sean Slamon said. No one was injured, and a cause was not reported.
