Surprise, surprise: The otherwise conservative Eric Cantor got the can tied to his tail by the people who elected him.
Should this be a surprise to anyone?
Cantor got himself replaced by his party. Why? Because he, and the vast majority in Washington, are missing the key issue on immigration reform.
The average American is not ready to debate who among illegal immigrants should be deported and who should be legalized and/or given a path to citizenship.
What the people want them to do first is to secure our borders and then take on the what and the who of this issue.
Our open border frightens us!
