MODESTO — The 16th American Graffiti Car Show & Festival continues from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today on the Modesto Junior College West Campus.
Hundreds of classic rides are featured at the annual celebration of cruising, cars and rock n roll. The festival has food, games, rides and more than 150 vendors. Performances by Three Cool Cats, with Kyle Barker & Friends, are scheduled between 10:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Classic car awards will be given out at 2 p.m.
The Great Valley Museum of Modesto Junior College will open the Planetarium for a laser and light show about the universe. Proceeds go to local charities. MJC West Campus is at 2201 Blue Gum Ave. General admission is $7, free for children ages 12 and younger; Planetarium is $5.
