Few details are available, but the unidentified man reportedly was shot about 1 p.m. near Solar Avenue and Moon Lane in rural Ceres.

Stanislaus County sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin Davis said there were reports of shots being fired in the neighborhood, and then a wounded man sought help from a woman in a car. She called 911.
