Women’s Club breakfast

The Snelling Women’s Club will hold its monthly breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. today at the IOOF Hall in Snelling. Tickets are $5, adults, $3, children and free for children younger than 3. Breakfast is pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs cooked to order, coffee and juice.

Dance at senior center

Dance to the music of the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Merced Senior Center, 755 W. 15th St. Tickets are $8 at the door. There will be refreshments and door prizes. Call (209) 723-0839 for details.

Atwater High reunion

Atwater High School Class of 1984’s reunion will be held at the Merced Country Club, 6333 N. Golf Road, from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. July 5. Those planning to attend must RSVP by June 20. Feral cat caretakers offered assistance

Last Hope Cat Kingdom is offering assistance with trap/neuter-spay/release information to people who are responsibly caring for feral cats in Merced County and the local area. Woman of the Year nominations requested

The community is invited to nominate a candidate for this year’s Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year. The award will be presented to the winner during the chamber’s Installation of Awards banquet in July. Veterans Craft Fair coming

American Legion Post 83 will host its annual Spring/Summer Veterans Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 31 in downtown Merced. Booths are available for $45 each, and proceeds will benefit local veterans’ needs and the preservation of the historic Veterans Memorial Building. For details, email jackperry@alr83.org.
