Nancy Carvalho: Biggest signs not always for the best

Regarding “Calkins will protect Wood Colony” (Letters, May 20): I fully agree with the writer. But here’s a thought: All those huge campaign signs you see are paid for by big money. Scott is not a career politician. He’s someone who took time and treasure to see a wrong and is trying to set it right.

I think Terry Withrow is a nice man, but I’m not convinced he supports Wood Colony or our great farmland. I think I will look for the smaller signs before I cast my vote. I hope you will, too.
