The Merced Flea and Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind the fairgrounds, 900 G St. EBT is accepted.

Sunday

UC Merced Chorale Spring Concert is this Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Lakireddy Auditorium. Enjoy the chorale’s spring concert featuring UC Merced students under the direction of Lorraine Walsh, accompanied by Denise Rallis and special guest accompanist Daniel Lockert. The audience will be treated to music from classical to contemporary, including John Rutter’s “Gloria.” Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. Valley Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2877 Atwater Blvd., Atwater. There are lots of vendors on site and EBT is accepted.

Monday

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Monday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Avenue, Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. Lots of vendors on site.

Tuesday

Le Grand Certified Farmers Market runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays on Washington Street and Le Grand Road, next to Pizza Factory.

Wednesday

The Merced Garden Club hosts its annual Spring Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A variety of gardens will be featured on tour, with raffle prizes and refreshments available at one of the gardens. Tickets are $15. For tickets and more information, call (209) 639-5626. Tickets may also be purchased at Aloha Floral and Gift Shop, A Blooming Affair, Merced Floral, Tioga Florist, and Merced Gardens and Nursery.

Merced County Certified Farmers Market is every Wednesday at the Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Yosemite and Paulson avenues, Merced. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Ave., Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. Lots of vendors on site.

The R-Bar, 1603 V St., Merced, hosts 8-ball competition every Wednesday night. Sign-ups at 6 p.m., game starts at 7. Twenty players only, $5 buy-in.
