Modesto, Manteca Cinco de Mayo celebrations promise fun for all

— Spectators lined up along Crows Landing Road on Saturday morning for the annual Cinco de Mayo parade, sponsored by South Modesto Businesses United.

Festivities continue today with Manteca’s Cinco de Mayo festival, including entertainment, vendors, a car show and food, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Library Park downtown. Admission is free.

This afternoon at the Gallo Center for the Arts is the “Musical Journey Through Latin America” concert featuring the Chamber Ensemble of Cantare Con Vivo, the California Sate University, Stanislaus, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, and Bay Area jazz fusion group Quijeremá. The free show is at 4 p.m.
