YESTERYEARS

50 YEARS AGO: Bud Deadmond of Valley Electric placed a city news brief looking for a missing customer. Deadmond reported that a lady had bought and paid cash for a new air conditioner and was so excited about the price she forgot to leave a name and address for delivery. Deadmond listed the phone number hoping to receive a call from the excited customer.
