World War II veterans, including 30 from throughout Northern California, were greeted at the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C., by bands and crowds of people who thanked them for the service and bravery. The vets were there courtesy of Honor Flight Northern California, which raised money privately to send the vets to see their monument and others on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
