— Community members and businesses have donated burial expenses for the kindergartner killed in a traffic accident in front of Tuolumne Elementary School last week.

Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is donating funeral services. Celeste Flowers of Modesto has given a floral spray. Ceres Memorial Park is providing the grave site. The Latino Community Roundtable paid for the obituary.

Services have been finalized for Alan “Alex” Navarro Fernandez, 5, who was killed Wednesday when he stepped in front of a city bus while leaving school.

A Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 3824 Mitchell Road, Ceres. Graveside services will follow at Ceres Memorial Park, 1805 E. Whitmore Ave., Ceres. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a rosary at 6 p.m., at Franklin & Downs, 1050 McHenry Ave., Modesto.
