Barbara Nickles: Health care makes her fear retirement

March 27, 2014

I am 37 years old, and I am in fear of becoming retired. Why? Because health care has taken a real nose dive in the past few years, especially since “Obamacare” became effective. Both of my parents are retired, and no one mentioned to them they would be kicked to the curb by the government. The average “middle class” individual can go to the doctor to have a simple blood test and pay a $40 co-pay. It’s rapidly becoming so that you’re forced to choose between your blood glucose supplies or eating. Older retired people don’t work as hard as they do all their lives only to struggle financially when they should be relaxing, traveling or spending time with their family.

Obamacare is working
