Stanislaus softball swept in San Francisco (3-19-14)

— The Cal State Stanislaus softball team lost twice on Wednesday in a make-up doubleheader against San Francisco State.

Despite pounding out 14 hits, the Warriors lost 3-2 in 10 innings in Game 1. Then the Gators were all over Stanislaus starter Natalie Rendon en route to 8-0 loss in five innings.

San Francisco State’s Megan Clark allowed just three singles in five innings for the shoutout win.

The Warriors fell to 10-19 overall and 6-14 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.Wednesday's games were make-ups of March 2 scheduled contests that were rained out.

The Warriors travel to face Sonoma State this weekend in Ronhert Park.
