WATERFORD UNIFIED TO MEET

The Waterford Unified School District board will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. today in the district boardroom, 319 N. Reinway Ave. Trustees will vote on a contract with district support staff, represented by the California School Employees Association. The pact would restore wages for staff outside child development programs to 2010-11 levels, a 3 percent increase, plus a 2 percent raise, all effective April 1. An additional 2.25 percent would be added July 1, but there would be no salary hike in 2015-16. The deal includes improved health care coverage for staff working six hours a day. AMERICAN GIRL FASHION SHOW

St. Stanislaus Catholic School will present an American Girl fashion show at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday at the Gallo Center for the Arts, 1000 I St., Modesto. Local models will wear historical clothing that resembles what the popular American Girl book characters might have worn.
