Rotary shrimp feed

Sunrise Rotary is having its annual all-you-can-eat shrimp feed today at the Merced Fairgrounds Pavilion and Half Dome Buildings. No-host social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7. The $40 ticket includes a $25 donation that will benefit Sunrise Rotary’s many service projects. For more information call (209) 723-1691.

Republican Women Federated meet Tuesday

Tahiti Fete at GV High

Cinderella’s has prom dresses

Cinderella’s Closet will have dresses, shoes and accessories for students who need prom attire. Donations are being accepted. The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 22, 29 and April 5. Call (209) 386-4034 for information.

Elks pancake breakfast

The Elks Park pancake breakfast is 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the lodge on M Street. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. The meal includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, orange juice and coffee. Bloody Marys and screwdrivers also available. All proceeds go to support the Elks Park.

Vets can get help at VFW

Atwater Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9946, 1390 Broadway, has been serving the needs of veterans and their families for more than 62 years and welcomes any veteran whose service included combat or a combat operation. Central California Legal Services offers legal advice and representation to eligible individuals involved in tenant rights and homeless issues, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income disability claims, CalWorks, Medi-Cal, unemployment, and CalFresh (food stamp) cases. Tea party meeting

The Merced-Atwater Tea Party will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 20 at the VFW Hall on Fifth Street and Broadway in Atwater. Everyone is invited to attend and meet the candidates for Merced County District 3 supervisor.
