Cota R. Howell Sr.: Help appreciated in navigating IRS

Recently my wife and I needed help with a problem we encountered with the IRS.

After numerous calls, voice mails, customer call center messages and the IRS advocate assistance program, we were still no closer to a solution than when we began.

I called the state representative’s office here and was helped by Wendy Rodman, who, indeed, helped us to gain a solution to our problem. We’d like to thank her and that office for a solution that I am sure wouldn’t have been reached without their intervention.

Her methods helped us work out a problem that took 101/2 months.

To be fair, there was a short shutdown with the IRS last year. However, it shouldn’t have taken 10 months to remedy our situation.

Again, thanks to that office and the professional courtesy granted these two boomers.
