FROM STUDENT TO TEACHER CONFERENCE

California State University, Stanislaus, will hold its annual Transition from Student to Teacher Conference from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the campus main dining room, 1 University Circle, Turlock. Register today to attend. Cost is $30. University President Joseph Sheley will welcome attendees, followed by keynote speaker Dana Salles Trevethan. Four sessions of six workshops each will cover topics such as teaching challenges, becoming a teacher and strategies for Common Core State Standards instruction.
