— A man was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and drunken driving after police tracked down his vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to a hospital with a head wound sustained in the accident.

A car parked at 1670 W. J St. was struck by another vehicle at 1:05 a.m., police said. The driver kept going, Sgt. Ben Savage said, but officers located the vehicle with major front-end damage on Cresta Court. They arrested Vincent Helms, 23, and sent his 24-year-old passenger, also of Oakdale, to the hospital; his condition could not immediately be determined.

Another passenger from Modesto was not injured, Savage said.
