A traffic stop in north Modesto led to the discovery of ecstasy pills, marijuana and a stolen gun on Monday evening.
An officer stopped Kelly Campbell, 23, for driving 15 mph over the speed limit in the 2000 block of Rose Avenue at about 9:45 p.m., said Modesto police spokeswoman Heather Graves.
The officer searched Campbell’s car when he learned she had a warrant for her arrest; he found 41 ecstasy pills, a small amount of a crystalline substance and two guns, one of which was stolen.
Campbell’s passenger, Javier Haro, 32, was on probation, so police searched his house about a mile south of the traffic stop.
Graves said officers found paraphernalia inside the home indicative of drug sale, and in Haro’s car found about 7 grams of methamphetamine and 20 grams of marijuana.
Both Campbell and Haro were arrested on a long list of drug possession and sales charges, as well as weapons charges.
