Bob LaNinfa: Somebody must pay for your care

February 24, 2014

President Barack Obama said if you’re working 40 to 60 hours a week at a job you don’t like because it pays for your health care, just sign up with Obamacare and quit that job. Obama and Nancy Pelosi said you can work just 30 to 35 hours a week by signing up with Obamacare, and then spend more time with your family, enjoying life. You can do all the things you’ve always wanted to do, and not worry about health care.

Think about that for a moment? What Obama and Pelosi forgot to say is that if you like that beautiful home you live in, the automobile you just purchased, the college your child just enrolled in, that trip you planned to take, the remodeling of your kitchen, if you like them, you cannot have them. Period! Oh, let’s not forget the maintenance, the tax on the home, car insurance, and life policy on you and your spouse. I almost forget all those utility bills that come in each month. Will these obligations be paid for through Obamacare?

I was brought up to work for the better things in life. Nothing’s free; someone has to pay for it. Period!
