25 YEARS AGO: Highway 120 leading into Yosemite Valley reopened in time for the busy Presidents Day weekend after being closed for 21/2 days because of a rock slide. Five boulders said to be as large as automobiles crashed into the pavement, affecting a 60-yard section of the road. Park officials blamed the massive slide on an alternating weather pattern of freeze and thaw.
