For taxpayers with low and moderate income, tax preparation services will be available for free at various Stanislaus County locations today through April 15. Those seeking help will need to bring the current years tax forms, a copy of last years tax return, W-2 forms from 2013, unemployment and other compensation statements, Social Security benefit statements and any 1099s. Personal identification such as Social Security cards or other official documents for the client and all dependents must be presented, as well. Sites include:
• Modesto Senior Citizens Center, 211 Bodem Ave., Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• King-Kennedy Memorial Center, 601 S. Martin Luther King Drive, Modesto, Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Turlock Senior Citizens Center, 1199 Cahill St., Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m.
• Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Ave., Patterson, Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
