The Summerville Union High School District board will meet for a California School Boards Association online training at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Summerville High School library, 17555 Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne. Meetings of the Connections Visual and Performing Arts Academy board and district board will begin at 6:30 p.m. The board will weigh 2012 bond steering committee recommendations and vote on a contract to share business services with the Twain Harte-Long Barn Union School District. The Turlock Unified School District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Professional Development Center, 1100 Cahill Ave., Turlock. Trustees will get updates on Gov. Jerry Brown’s budget proposal and implementation of the Common Core State Standards. The board will be asked to vote on plans to upgrade district network and server capacity, expected to cost $2 million, and on a building projects financing plan that identifies $255 million in projects but only $60 million in revenues through 2016-17. The Salida Union School District board will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday a for a self-study of board effectiveness and at 7 p.m. for a regular meeting at the board room, 5250 Tamara Way, Salida. At the meeting, trustees will consider renewing the charter of Independence Charter School and hear an update on Head Start.


The Patterson Joint Unified School District board will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the district office, 510 Keystone Blvd., Patterson. Trustees will vote on applying for a $3 million California Energy Commission loan and approving a $75,000 contract with Chevron Energy Solutions to help it apply for Proposition 39-compliant projects, and includes an intention to negotiate on an energy services contract. The Ceres Unifed School District board will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday for a study session and at 5 p.m. Thursday in the district boardroom, 2503 Lawrence St., Ceres. The study session will cover the Brown Act and governance. The Thursday meeting will include a study session of priorities for the budget and strategic plan. Trustees will consider seeking submissions for consultants on energy savings projects and receive the 2012-13 audit. See the agendas at
