Stanislaus County car theft suspects (1-18-14)

Six people were arrested on suspicion of auto theft in Stanislaus County from Jan. 9 through Wednesday.


Suspect: Jesus Diaz, 33, Modesto

Date Arrested: Jan. 9

Arresting Agency: Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force

Charges: Auto theft, receiving known stolen property, driving while license is suspended or revoked, enhancement for crime committed while on bail or parole


Suspect:Dennis Gatz, 47, Ceres

Date Arrested: Sunday

Arresting Agency: StanCATT

Charges: Auto theft, theft or extortion involving motor vehicle


Suspect: Becky Beglinger, 37, Modesto

Date Arrested: Sunday

Arresting Agency: StanCATT

Charges: Auto theft, theft or extortion involving motor vehicle, enhancement for crime committed while on bail or parole


Suspect: Alfred Sobotka, 31, Ceres

Date Arrested: Tuesday

Arresting Agency: StanCATT

Charges: Auto theft, theft or extortion involving a motor vehicle, obstructing police officer, rearrest


Suspect: Bobby Jackson, 24, Modesto

Date Arrested: Tuesday

Arresting Agency: Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department

Charges: Auto theft, owning or operating a chop shop, receiving stolen property, theft or extortion involving motor vehicle


Suspect: Ralph Guerra, 19, Modesto

Date Arrested: Wednesday

Arresting Agency: Sheriff’s Department

Charges: Auto theft, owning or operating a chop shop, receiving stolen property, theft or extortion involving motor vehicle
