VIGIL MARKS YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF TEEN’S HOMICIDE

A vigil for homicide victim Tylor Crippen will be held Jan. 29, on the one-year anniversary of his death. The vigil will take place at 6 p.m. in Creekwood Park, where the 18-year-old was stabbed to death while on a walk with his girlfriend last year. The Tylor Crippen Memorial Scholarship Fund continues to accept donations to sustain an annual $500 scholarship for a Johansen High School senior. The fund also soon will give a $400 donation to Johansen’s Peer Assisted Learning program and sponsor a kennel at a local animal rescue.
