Maxwell Norton: We’re having chicken for dinner

January 13, 2014

I am not involved in the poultry industry, but I have had the opportunity to tour the Foster Farms Livingston plant a few times. I have always been impressed at the company’s considerable efforts to keep the facility spotless. Even the outsides of the buildings are very clean. Roaches travel quite a bit, and this facility is really huge. If a roach is carried in on clothing or pallets and the traps catch it, then the system is working.

We had chicken for supper last night.
