Love gays; condemn their lifestyle

The letter “Love and acceptance for all” (Dec. 27) was a good letter on love. However, if believers in Jesus Christ did only this, we would be loving people right into hell. Concerning gays, we should love them but hate and condemn their sinful lifestyle.

Read the Bible. In Romans 1:18-32, 1 Timothy 1:8-10, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Jude 1:7, the gay lifestyle is condemned by God. What we should be sharing with gays is that we care about them and love them enough to tell them the truth. In 1 John 1:8-10, this is clearly explained: “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.” Believers must share all of the truth about the gay lifestyle and share it, in love, to gays.
