Verna M. Hutter: More lies from the media

January 3, 2014

The Benghazi debacle has again become newsworthy following “extensive investigation” by David Kirkpatrick of the New York Times into the who and why of the murderous extremists attack on our consulate. What the American people really want to know is why the president of the United States and commander in chief gave the order to stand down when special forces and those trained for rescue were at the ready to save the lives of those in jeopardy. What political consideration took priority over the lives of four fellow Americans? The lies put forth by this administration and the callous remark by Hillary Clinton give adequate cause to the likelihood of cover-up.

The Bee editorial staff, in keeping with the liberal blame game, now faults the Republican Party as obsessive in an attempt to discredit the president. We are grateful that there remain seekers of truth and that not all will cave in to the habitual lying spewing from the White House. Above all, this president needs little help in destroying his credibility.
