75 YEARS AGO: Stanislaus County’s annual farm income fell to $24,693,740, a decrease of $4,211,650 from the previous year. The largest drop was from the fruits, grapes and nuts division, which saw a 40 percent income decrease. However, the livestock and poultry division income went up 5 percent, the largest increase being poultry, which rose to $2,132,000 from 1,650,000.
