Stanislaus County Library announces movie trailer contest for teens

local@modbee.comDecember 26, 2013

— The Stanislaus County Library is having a contest, inviting those ages 13 to 18 to create original movie trailers.

Participants are asked to make a two-minute video to promote a favorite book. The video can contain multimedia such as images, live action, animation, music and words to compel the viewer to read the book.

Prizes will be awarded at a reception for all contestants on March 15.

Entry forms will be available starting Jan. 6.

Videos can be submitted as early as that day and no later than 5 p.m. March 8.

For more information, contact the Modesto branch of the library at (209) 558-7817.
