25 YEARS AGO: The San Joaquin Valley is threatened with snow by the Siberian Express storm. The storm, promised to be the wettest of the season, will drop the snow level from 2,500 to 1,000 feet and perhaps dust the valley if the temperature gets low enough. The last snowfall San Joaquin experienced was six years earlier in 1982.
