While I find acts of kindness, such as paying for the food of the driver behind you in a fast-food drive-through, a nice thing to do, I would like to challenge people to bump it up a notch. Buy something for a homeless person. They are always near those restaurants waiting for a kind act. The person behind in the line is there because he can afford to be. The person on the street cant. So please, just an extra effort to be socially conscious. You have no idea how grateful one can be for a hamburger. It may not be announced in the paper, but it is an act recorded somewhere, if only in the heart.
