David J. Fauskin: Did Republicans forget the Bush years?

December 12, 2013

I wonder if the Republicans have collective or selective amnesia. They forget that they elected an oafish megalomaniac (twice) who, along with warmonger “Five Deferments” Dick Cheney, illegally invaded Iraq in an unfunded fiasco that has so far cost around $7 trillion. Bush and company spent money like drunken frat boys with credit cards, yet Republicans blame President Obama for everything from the economy to original sin.

Speaking of Dubya, I guess he’s become the forgotten man since we haven’t heard from him since he left office. Maybe John Boehner has him under a “gag order.” He certainly makes me gag.
