LDS holding Nativity festival in Modesto

— Today and Sunday are the final days for the Community Nativity Festival at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 731 El Vista Ave., near Scenic Drive in Modesto.

The free festival, both days from 3 to 8 p.m., features more than 300 nativity scenes and live entertainment from local performing groups such as the Advent Herald Handbells, St. Joseph’s Catholic Choir, Golden Valley Chorus (Barbershop Harmony Society), Davis High School Choir, Downey High School Madrigals, Heart Strings Celtic Harp Ensemble and more.
