Info: The Stanislaus County Library will present the Read to a Reindeer program. The therapy dogs are back and dressed in costume for the holidays. The program is free and is for independent readers ages 4 to 12. During this program, therapy dogs will be paired with independent readers for 15-minute sessions, in which the child will have the opportunity to read a book to a dog. The dog will patiently listen to the child read, building the childs confidence in his or her reading ability and communication skills. Availability is limited, so register quickly.
