What: FANTASY OF TREES

Info: Community Hospice will transform the Gallo Center for the Arts lobby into a winter wonderland, filled with designer-decorated trees, unique holiday gifts, taste treats and a visit from Santa during a three-day event. Fantasy of Trees supports Community Hospices support programs for children and hospice services. The Premiere Night & Auction is Dec. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Holiday Luncheon & Boutique is Dec. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with lunch at noon. What: FESTIVAL OF TREES LIGHTING EVENT
When: Dec. 7, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Wood Park at South Yosemite and Highway 120
Info: A few 6-foot trees remain available for sponsorship on a first-come basis. The deadline has been extended to Wednesday to receive a lighted tree to decorate. Organizations, businesses and individuals can sponsor and decorate a tree for display through the holidays. Each tree will have a plaque identifying the sponsor. What: GARDEN CLUB MEETING
When: Dec. 9, noon
Where: Turlock Senior Center, 1191 Cahill Ave.
Info: The Turlock Garden Club will have a potluck and then a small Christmas party, which will include a gift exchange. Members are asked to bring an unwrapped gift for a child and canned food for Christmas donations to the Salvation Army. Members who want to participate in the Christmas gift exchange should bring a wrapped gift under $10. Guests are welcome to attend.
