My Salon has opened in Modesto. And by “My Salon,” I don’t mean I own it — that’s what it’s called.

Jennifer Toledo said she is planning a grand-opening celebration for My Salon this week. Toledo said she is working in conjunction with Brent Hill, who operates the Hill Center for Integrative Medicine.

“We wanted to provide a series of businesses where women could take care of their beauty and well-being, both on the inside and outside,” Toledo wrote in an email. “We offer a beautiful, warm and inviting environment and very affordable prices. You shouldn’t have to break the bank to look and feel amazing.”

My Salon specializes in hair services, including cuts and color and special occasion styling. It also offers waxing and nails, and “we have two fantastic makeup artists,” Toledo said, adding that she plans to add spray tanning and skin care services soon.

My Salon is at the corner of Oakdale Road and Sylvan Avenue, and is open six days a week. Saturday’s grand-opening party will be from 5 to 9p.m. For more information, call (209)551-9737.
