Members of the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, which presented an abridged version of “Julius Caesar” on Wednesday at the Modesto branch of the Stanislaus County Library, are conducting a workshop Saturday at Nick W. Blom Salida Regional Library. Workshop participants may be invited to join Shakespeare for All, a community production of “Julius Caesar” in December. Possible roles could include acting, performing music or helping with set design. People of all ages, with or without theater experience, are welcome. The workshop will be from 11a.m. to 4p.m., then, over the next several weeks, there will be rehearsals for participants in the community performance. The workshop and rehearsals will be at the Salida Library, 4835 Sisk Road. There will be two community performances: Dec.14 at 3p.m. at the Salida Library and Dec.17 at 6p.m. at the Modesto Library, 1500 I St. The same group of community members will perform in both shows. For more information, call the Modesto Library at (209)558-7810.
