November 5, 2013

— Two incumbents and a long-time administrator in the district were leading for three seats on the Oakdale Joint Unified School District board.

In early returns, first-term trustee Diane Gilbert led the four-person race, followed by Barbara Shook, who retired after working in Oakdale schools for 32 years, and 20-year board member Mike House.

Joe Peterson was the fourth candidate in the contest. Board member Bill Dyer did not seek re-election.
