The Turlock Unified School District will present a free workshop, “Practical Behavior Strategies for the Home,” for parents of special-needs children. The morning session will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday in Room 102 at the district office, 1574 E. Canal Drive, Turlock. An evening session from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday will provide child care in rooms WW5 and WW7 at the district office. Board-certified behavior analysts and inclusion specialists will conduct the training, meant to provide parents with pragmatic, useful and positive ways to manage the behavior of special-needs children.
