Merced College offers online paralegal program

October 29, 2013

Merced College Community Services has a paralegal program to help students get high-quality, affordable online training to launch a new career or advance in an existing one.

This partnership between Community Services and “ed2go” allows students to develop new skills and knowledge in order to stand out in a competitive job market, according to a Merced College press release.

Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and instructor and peer interaction, students will gain valuable knowledge at a time and place that is convenient. These programs provide students the flexibility of studying at their own pace and enough structure and support to complete the course. They can be accessed at all times using an Internet connection.

The paralegal program is available for students to start at any time and consists of 300 hours of instruction that can be completed within six months. The program is entirely Web-based, but expert instructors provide office hours and quick responses to student questions, according to the release.

Community Services offers other online programs, in an effort to provide convenient, affordable and accessible career training programs.
