After another couple of days of cool mornings and toasty afternoons, it looks like autumn will arrive early next week in the Northern San Joaquin Valley.
Through the weekend, National Weather Service forecasters are predicting more of what we have had for the last two weeks in the Modesto area: Highs in the low 80s, with overnight lows around 50.
When the new week rolls around, however, temperatures will start to drop off a bit, with highs in the low 70s Monday and high 60s on Tuesday. Lows will dip into the 40s.
Forecasters still dont see any sign of rain in the near future, with conditions expected to be mostly sunny with maybe a cloud here and there.
